So I was looking at Shaco's champ gg page, and there was this really strange thing I saw. The highest win rate build with 300 games under the position is a hybrid bruiser build. Can anyone explain to me why this happened or how come that build is working for I guess numerous people right now, also runes and masteries set up would be appreciated too!

Keep in mind this is under a 2% difference from the usually build. Draktharr is proc'ed by both shaco and his clone, Gunblade is useful for the slow and hybrid damage, and abyssal reduced their mr while giving you some. If you've played AP shaco, he is equally as effective since his ult has a 100% ap ratio and his boxes are more effective. In fact, all but his Q and autos will do more damage with AP shaco.

It's always been that way. His kit guarantees him a crit and a 20 percent damage increase on it when he does go in. That being said, he only needs a couple damage items to ruin a squishy. Once he gets to that point, he can just build something like Deadman's and suddenly negate his own weakness - being terrible at teamfighting due to squishyness relative to positioning requirements.

I don't get what you mean op do you wanna learn how to play shaco? He isn't easy to abuse like YI, Jax, or XIn so you'll have to practice quite a bit before being able to be effective in ranked.

for runes I usually go ad reds, flat MR blues, flat armor yellows, attack speed quints. So a standard build. Masteries I take the regular thunderlords path since I rely heavily on burst damage to burst squishies down since shaco is shit at 1v1 due to being made of paper.

Also please for the love of god practice him in normals for about 40 to 60 games before going to ranked. It takes time to learn all his tricks and counterplay mechanics so don't just learn the basics and rush in because unless the enemy team has never seen a shaco you are going to lose a lot of games since shaco falls behind hard if he's countered in the slightest early on.

Tl:dr Practice. Shaco isn't a free win champion like Yi and will take a lot of knowledge to be able to do well with him
