Can someone explain to me the power dynamic between the two most powerful ADCs right now?
Kai'sa is decent early game at dueling, and nearly unmatched lategame on-hit.
Lucian is nearly unmatched early game at dueling, and ok lategame on-hit.
I would expect Lucian to be able to snowball off of Kai'sa, so are the games decided by whether Lucian manages to snowball off of botlane or not?
If so, that's a really shitty dynamic.
Atmosphere2 votesThat basically sums it up. Win conditions are different based on who you picked:
Lucian vs Kai'Sa: Bully her in lane and get jungle pressure to set her behind. Keep her down and rotate to other lanes and apply pressure. Win the game by 30ish minutes
Kai'Sa vs Lucian: Farm up early and avoid Lucian's all-in's, especially at level 2. Don't fall too far behind, but don't try to trade with him early. Extend the game out as long as you can. If you get past 35 minutes, you're almost guaranteed to win.
Of course, there's niche scenarios, such as Kai'Sa getting a heavy CC support and constantly proccing her passive and smashing the early game, or Lucian out-playing Kai'Sa late game 1v1 and ending, but that's generally how it goes between those two.
