What if Strength of The Ages was a % boost

Something like... 0.5% more health per Siege Minion, up to 15%. And a 2.5% heal per Siege Minion

It might not necessarily make it better than the other masteries, but it'd definitely have a clear use case

Strength of ages is the only resolve tree last tier mastery that can be picked by a non tank/juggernaut. Making it scale with max health would just make it another mastery for health stackers.

Flat health is useful on anyone but more useful on tanks since they have usually more resistances. If the mastery is too weak Riot can adjust it.

Your first point is true. But on the other hand, who would go 18 into Resolve except a tank/juggernaut?

A bruiser marksman such as Graves? A diving battle mage like Lissandra or Swain?

Most people still build them full offense even though a defensive build might work just as well. It really depends on what kinda play style people want to play with those champions.

Hmm, it kinda makes sense, actually. And 300 flat HP for this kind of champs is a lot, enough to make a notable difference. But you are giving up the Penetration from Red/Purple 5th line and the damages that an offensive Keystone would bring. Which can be a lot.

I guess you would take 18 resolve if they have lots of burst, and 18 in offense if they have a heavy frontline.

I thought of this, but then I remembered Cinderhulk was already in the game.

It needs a buff though.

Strength of Ages is an early/mid game mastery, not a late game mastery.
