PSA - Just because someone's playing Bottom/Marksman doesn't mean they can't support good!

Too often I see these overly cocky supports that sabotage the lane or at best put both champions in awkward situations again and again and again by not taking the support role seriously. Granted, I play way too much normal draft games, so that may have something to do with it!

Nevertheless, I enjoy bottom and support positions just fine in a game, assuming my teammate is polite and is willing to work with me on getting things done. It's rare, but sometimes I don't have to ask them to do things or to not do things. They just behave as expected and things are fine for the most part. Then there's those games where they make poor decisions and you try and help them by advising them on what they should or should not be doing and it's like talking to a wall...with a radio speaker on it.

What I'd like to see start happening is that players will be willing to react positively to the things their lane partner has to tell them, and not get this inflated opinion of themselves. If someone has an idea for something you could be doing differently, why not entertain that idea? Do you always have to talk back to them as it were? Telling them that they're wrong and you're right? Why do you have to start an argument that you've already determined you're not going lose?

Guess what? If you start an argument that you're convinced you can't lose, you're signing yourself for failure when it comes to actually winning the game and getting winner's IP. And you run the risk of getting reported(although let's be honest here, it's unlikely Riot will actually punish you), rather than honored. You also increase the chance your teammates don't all honor someone which would mean you don't get the everyone-honored-someone bonus.

But, if you try what they're telling you to, then they feel better about your teamwork skills and are more likely to honor you after the game. And we all should know by now that consistent honors lead to more in game rewards. Why not start behaving more like human beings instead of angry animals whose den was just invaded?

What would you guys think about adding an honor option of 'teachable' or 'humble' or 'meek' or whatever you want to call it? This would be useful for those times when you get that teammate that needs your advice, you give it to them, and they actually take it and it helps the fun factor go up and contributes to meaningful teamwork, greater chances of winning, and so on. I mean I guess you could call that untiltable because they didn't immediately rage at you for giving them some useful feedback, but is that really the label we want to slap onto players just being optimistic about other players' opinions?
