Can Riot stop pretending Grasp of the Undying isn't overpowered?

This mastery is in a tree designed for defense. It shouldn't be building stacks when a champion ISN'T BEING ATTACKED by another champion. This is the biggest problem with the keystone, and is what allows stupid strong champs/builds like Mundo or Tank Akali to flourish. It's why any AD champ who builds the least bit of HP gets the keystone over Warlords.

I won't argue with whether it's unfair or not, I don't play Top or Mid. But isn't there a determent to going fully into the Resolve tree?

If you're a glass cannon or otherwise completely reliant on going pure damage, yes.

What is the point of your defense ability rising when nobody attacks you?

I have to agree that if Trundle can build no lifesteal and yet still manage to outheal all the damage you spit at him, there is most likely an issue that needs to be adressed. This isn't even trundle in the midst of dying minions. This is trundle chasing you down in the jungle.

Most of that probably comes from his ult. If he can outheal your damage with Grasp alone then that's means you deal less than ~100 damage in 4 secs. (assuming he has 3.5k HP)

You forget the problem of a lane Trundle with Grasp. He's attacking or being attacked by minions, you poke at him. He lands one hit on you, and then he regains 3% of his health for landing that one hit. Combine that with the health he's regaining from natural/item regen + his passive, and you can't do anything but wait for your jungler/mid to help you all in him.

I know that, but he said it was in the jungle.
