a story of Rakan

This is mostly aimed at the champion design team, since I'd love for this story to be considered feedback on a job well done.

So, I first timed Rakan in ranked with a fairly experienced Xayah. I had no idea what I was doing. My Xayah wasn't communicating with me either. Naturally, I died level one testing my boundaries on the champion. After that, I cooled off and paid closer attention to what my Xayah was doing. Keep in mind, I have no idea what Xayah does either! I followed along with her animations in addition to her play behavior. It was easy to guess at what she was doing. It was easy to know what to do when she did it. In a way, it felt like my teammate was teaching me how to play as this pair of champions, and that's just incredible. These two are so in sync that I was able to learn how to play this champion just from watching my partner play their champion. It is incredible what you guys managed to do with these two. They have a human quality to them that I found myself envying. They feel alive, responsive, and true to themselves. This is what I imagine a proper externalization is down to the visual effects, the dialogue, the feel of the characters.

I've looked up all the information I could find about designing the pair of these champions, but if you wanna share a little more, I'd love the opportunity.
