Top AD Kennen

For some reason the Mods decided that this should be a Gameplay post instead of an Esports posts, even though I'm looking specifically at pro games.

Moving on, I've watched three games of AD Kennen top, and I'm still not seeing it. Can someone explain the thought process going into this pick to me? I've heard a few people talk about it being fine as long as it's ahead, but that's pretty much the case in every matchup lol. I just don't see the upside to AD top when it makes the ult garbage.

Is the tank shred really that good? Because that's about all I can see going for it, and there are other picks that could do it better imo.
