Bottom lane is all about Dragon control at the moment. A champion that's basically free-food in lane really doesn't help in that department.

he just has a weak teamfight until he has his W maxed. 3 ranks in R doesn't hurt either.
that obviously hurts for dragon control but i wouldnt call him free food in lane. especially if you consider post 6 his lane opponent will probably be poked down pretty low by his harass which hurts their dragon fight a lot.

maikokk1 voteskog can get easy vision of the pit while doing damage from a safe distance (behind the wall) dragon secures being more important makes him stronger. if he pokes down the enemy team while they drag, it can be a real drag. gives the enemy team a reason to back down with kog alone harassing the pit early game.
