When did this community get so... not-smart?
I mean this in the kindest way possible. It seems like everyone is an idiot these days. And it's only gotten worse over time.
Example 1: "It ends up giving your ADC an entire Last Whisper for free" says Innox. (from an icky cringe e-sports article) Except, you know, the part where the thing in question (Urgot's E) barely gives_ half_ of just the penetration of Whisper -- not even close to being close to true. I really really hope that wasn't some alleged "pro" player -- because if you can manage to be that mind-blowingly wrong about a champion you play a lot in a game you're a pro at....
Example 2: People refusing to ban Zed as he "outplays" everyone. Then people still refusing to ban him. There's an enormous problem with Zed and how absurdly unhealthy is (having such juke potential that you simply **cannot **outplay him in a pvp fight short of being Karthus thanks to being able to triple juke in 0.2 seconds), but that'd be fixed if people actually banned champs that simply can't be dealt with.
Example 3: Everyone watching Leona miss an ult. And miss an ult. And miss a flash ult. And pop righteous glory. And be predictable as hell. And still miss an ult. And be slow as all hell. And be a melee. And require her shield not to die instantly. And just be an absurdly slow, terrible champion overall. Then she stops being an extreme burden just once by landing one ult once and suddenly everyone acts like Leona is a great champion, completely forgetting that she's been useless for the past half hour. .. What? Everything she does is just way too damn slow.
Example 4: (This is still so for many other champs) People playing Eve as trash AP. Then doing poorly. Then doing this over and over and over again and never improving. At least consider the _possibility _that you're doing it wrong.
Example 5: People still asking you for a "leash" when what they actually want is assistance / help. Leashing does still exist, but what they're asking for probably isn't actually a leash. Don't believe me? Give them an actual leash (it's still possible, just not as effective as it once was). They'll probably get really pissy.
Example 6: No one complaining about AP Satan in SR. The lack of a real oracle's is bad enough, but where he truly shines is with insane intrinsic (actually, possibly the best in the game) synergy with Liandry's; he typically rushes it, and you're unable to build any MR that doesn't also come with Health. So every single MR item you could buy as a countermeasure forces you to itemize towards Health, and he heavily mitigates the bonuses of half your countermeasures, which are already scarce.
Example 7: People complaining that Clarity is trash because they don't know how to abuse it properly. (hint: The answer is in winning lanes due to more harass)
