Can we please rename Sona's "auras" to "fields"?

No other so-called aura in the game has anywhere close to the disgustingly pathetically low radius of Sona's allegeded auras. Her abilities' radii are literally so bad, that they are the only "auras" with next to no range.

They're the only auras in the game that function like this -- the only "auras" whose range is literally so bad that their effects can't provide their benefit to others without making everyone affected extremely vulnerable to a Malphite ult. Wouldn't it be better to change them to something like "fields", or "players in the vicinity/area", or just anything except auras -- so that the only things considered auras are things that actually feel like auras that have range?

That would lead to misconception. There can be different ranges on the same concept. Imagine Coke calling a smaller cup Goke. Is it the same thing? Yes. Why does it have a different name then?

Also, if you wanna make a post to complain about Sona Aura range being too small, be more direct about it.

aura is the perfect word for it, changing it to fields would simply make it sound silly and less fantasy-ish if yah feel me. :^O

Well, that and the fact they don't work like auras. Auras are persistent effects that give benefits for the duration they're active, whether temporary or permanent.

Sona's abilities are now 1-off effects that are applied only a single time and then disappear into oblivion.

On that note, it feels I more often hear Rioters call them "snuggle zones," but I'm more partial to the name "Malphite ult here" zones. It's worth noting Malphite's ult is 300-units radius, he's almost guaranteed to hit anyone attempting to utilize Sona's circle of friendly-death. Don't forget, Sona's range on PBE was originally 300 units, they increased it to this just as embarrassingly pathetic 350 at the last second.
