How do you win laning phase as Rumble vs Yasuo?

I just played a top lane rumble vs a yasuo and i got stomped in laning phase. I don't understand why though, cause theoretically rumble is supposed to be one of the strongest early game top laners and yasuo is supposed to be one of the weakest early game top laners. I tried my best to scrap shield at 35-30 heat so i could get in danger zone, then harass him with my q, but he just knocked me up and shitted on me anime-teen angst- yasuo style. So how does one outplay yasuo in the laning phase as rumble?

I don't think rumble has the outplay potential to really outplay Yas in lane. Best advice would be to passive farm till you just murder the fucker.

Not under powered its more of Yas being just better. Windwall blocks everything you have besides auto's plus his dash gives him an easy dodge from your tazer things (I don't play or play against rumble too much) and the flame spitter.

Yasuo is relatively weak early, but he's strong at level 1 and 2.

Rumble isn't necessarily one of the strongest early-game champions, but he is rather strong once he has ~3 ranks in Q and some magic penetration.

Anyways, I would recommend you:

Start Cloth Armor + 4 Potions
Take Flat Armor Seals
Skill Order: QWQEQR (the early shield is nice for trading)
Rush Sorcerer Shoes and Haunting Guise (though Seeker's Armguard is useful if you are having issues)

Let him push up to your tower and just farm safely, you can't out trade him til you get your core items. Also get your jungler to camp you. When it comes to ganking Yasuo, he can't really do anything unleast he has some one to dash too behind him or flash

I don't play rumble so bare with me... But your flamethrower should go through windwall so deal with him that way, early game overheat autos can hurt so long term trades are beneficial against yasuo. if hes dashing around alot get rylais early so when he isn't dashing he gets destroyed, also use harpoons to pop his passive or force windwall, when he uses it shield up to him and burn him.

Another tip is instead of dashing when you have low heat but to do the opposite and dash in and overheat when you use the flamethrower that what you can auto while burning him and dish out a lot of damage.
