Because AD Shaco is extremely hard to make use of now and AP is the only real build that is reliable, OP isn't used to this new build/playstyle and got roflstomped by a Shaco player.
Shac Norris1 votesBest way to fight AP Shaco in a teamfight is to ignore him and destroy his team, while disabling his traps with sweeper. He can't do anything but throw Es anyway.
