Zed and Talon's Buffs on PBE should be Swapped

Talon : Shadow Assault (R) bonus AD ratio increased from 80% to 85% Damage increased from 90/135/180 to 90/165/240

Zed : Death Mark (R) cooldown lowered from 120/100/80 to 120/90/60

Hello, resident mid-lane masochi-- i mean resident assassin player here. I'm honestly pretty happy to see Talon and Zed getting some love since the lethality nerfs, they've both suffered quite a bit this new-season, and i'm tired of LL Stylish complaining about Zed on stream all day lately. Here's the problem with these buffs though, they're entirely misplaced. Talon doesn't need more damage, he one shots you just fine, even without his ult, and with his ult it can be overkill, with Talon having the ability to assassinate some bruisers with a full rotation including his ult and 2 passive procs anyway. What Talon needs is his stormraiders surge back, the new runes suit Talon very poorly compared to before. Talon is very susceptible to skill-shots, and the main way he avoid that is with his ultimate mobility, and in the past, stormraider's surge. So in the least, Talon would benefit from a reduction on his ult cd to let him get into fights and assassinate more often with less downtime.

Meanwhile without pen runes, and the wild overabundance of the stopwatch, Zed players get to feel like they're doing significantly less damage then before, especially with all the shields and the current power of supports. Zed is facing an awful lane phase with the 6 minute stopwatch, which essentially negates his level 6 power-spike around the whole map, and the fact that with his q does almost no damage if it passes through one minion on it's way to his lane opponent. Plus he can't assassinate through shields effectively, if at all, not to mention he has more trouble with shielding than other assassins like Talon or Akali would anyway with the natural delay in his ultimate's burst. Zed has never had that long of an ult cd troubling him anyway, especially with how highly zed prioritizes CDR in his build. If you want to make these types of assassins more effective you should swap their buffs and give Zed more damage and Talon lower Cd's.

lehatlity is hardcore bad and needs a rework only reason why zed was good was cause lethality was busted zed currently not playble in challenger they just need to revert all the nerfs they made when THE fucking assasin rework came out

I can see the zed buffs, since late game he only gets to make an impact every once in a while, but why the talon buffs? is he doing bad? The games I see him in he wrecks not only his lane, but usually roams and wrecks other lanes too. pick up a duskblade and you can jump a wall and ult a squishy back to the stone age.

Talon is actually doing terrible. Unlike Zed who can pop back to safety with R, Talon has to manually run away and leap over a wall to escape. He also has no untargetability and doesn't have the safety to harass like Zed, so he is forced to hard commit more and has to force shit more compared to Zed who ha more freedom to pick his battles.

Talon basically shreds to chip damage since he dies to incidental damage and poke just from even attempting to do his job right now.

Also, Roaming is pretty shit this season so far and Talon is rather roam dependent.

I agree. The Talon changes are totally misplaced.

this is wrong

Talon doesn't actually do damage in teamfights because his combos require 4-5 seconds of setup. He's fine in lane and ganks but he doesn't get his full combo off in teamfights unless the enemies are super trash.

Go watch vods of fwii or when he streams on occasion, he one shots people and assassinates fine, he does sometimes complain about ult cd and new runes though. Thats fwii, he's a challenger talon one trick. Talon still has a decent win rate despite the spot he's in because of his innate ability to assassinate easily with his damage, the real problem he has in teamfights lately is that he almost never gets out after he assassinates his target and maybe chunks another because he's very vulnerable to cc.
