A way Riot could make Rek'Sai's new ult work.
So yeah... When a ultimate that has a lot of damage output, puts you up-close with your target (and hopefully not in the middle of their team, which is 80% of the time) sounds pretty great right? But then we find out that they can just flash/dash. And now it's just a 60 second cd dash at max level...
SO, here is my opinion as to what I believe would greatly help rek'sai with her ult. You see the tunnel she leaves behind when she ults at a target? Why not get it to stay there for a short duration? Yes, even if it was to only last 5 seconds, that would greatly counter the "Highly skilled outplays of flashing/dashing slightly to the right", With this we can not be entirely punish for wasting an ultimate and now stuck in their team, we will be able to get out and readjust as to where to attack next.

healing (can dash out, has ms, can block spells)
AoE CC (And shield/has decent damage still if gone tank)
Healling (and ignores cc)
AoE CC (and shield)
AoE CC (and a way out on a short cd)
Healing ( and damage reduction, ult = CC)
Heals (has CC on 3rd auto and can knock away the team w.ult)
who like all the other champs ive listed (and there are more) do pretty respectable damage, but she has 1 CC and is practically single target and has no way to heal in the fight, has no type of shielding or way to reduce damage.
