Jungle resets unintentionally

So just now I got into a ranked match (right after they finished maintenance) and locked in as sion jungle , went to the enemies red buff with Q to start off , did the full Q onto the red buff and IT RESETS! This never happend before... How am I suppose to clear jungle camps without one of my primary abilities?

Also I was wondering if anyone else has had the same issue with any other champion in the jungle, when you try to cc the jungle camps does the same thing happen?
