0.9% pick rate, sad that Riot can't even balance a relatively new champion. I guess it's also about the balance of tanks in general, but still i can't believe Zac is this underplayed. And still only 1 skin..

Zac just needs a slight blob mechanic change and perhaps bonus tenacity while ulting and he's fixed.

The fact of the matter is that Zac has no place in this meta. He is designed to be a jungler, but almost all junglers are assassin types nowadays. He does not have the most reliable engage or damage, and he isn't really that tanky either. He is like a bad Dr. Mundo.

Yea and him being able to get cced while ulting doesn't help either, meanwhile Sion..

His sustain might make him pretty strong in the new jungle i they balance it better.

Zac's issues have to do with his kit/playstyle not being that great in the current meta. He was RIDICULOUS in season 3 to the point they had to nerf him, so it's not like he's been trash since release.

Right now if you're going to be a tanky jungler you'd better have ridiculous CC or the ability to delete a priority target. Zac has decent-but-not-great engage (it's badly telegraphed if the enemy team has vision of him) and decent AOE damage. His clears and dueling aren't good enough to counterjungle against a champ that's mainly farming. He has good jungle sustain, but so do a lot of other junglers.

The jungle changes for S5 might help him out, since he should be pretty good at contesting dragons early. Expect balance tweaks to various junglers during the preseason if the major jungle mob and item changes go through.

Zac came out 1 1/2 years ago, when the meta was much different. He was amazing during that time.
