More relevance placed in the rune tree primary+secondary choice?

So, I got a little bummed when I realized that the starting stats bonus you get from your rune trees are decided purely by your primary tree. What type of stats you get is based only on your primary, and how much you get is the exact same unless you take inspiration as a secondary in which case means you get 50% more stats. I would have liked to see your unique primary+secondary combination give you a unique combination of stats, or even better, a unique 6th minor rune relevant to your combination. Since precision is a tree for auto attack champs and DPS and sorcery is for casters, it could have been cool if taking precision+sorcery could see the return of spell+blade weaving, boosting your damage if you constantly alternate damaging spells and auto attacks since a champ that blends precision and sorcery would probably like that.

I'm pretty sure that in the future Riot will use the unique stats on each tree as a balance lever. For example, if a certain combination of two trees ends up just being a terrible choice for almost every champion, Riot may bump up the stats on said tree so that more people decide to give it a try. That's what happened with inspiration I think, since its the only tree that gives no combat stats at all, and a lot of the abilities in there are pretty gimmicky, they wanted to increase the stat bonus there just in case.
