I'm sooo hyped, finally a support champion and there's 2 releases? They look so badass and their kits look so fun to play with, just when I thought I was done spending money on this game, yes it's first impressions but Riot have really outdone themselves and you better believe i'm spending money on these guys and their skins
Exact opposite outside the support guy's kit. Not a fan of the characters or design, but then I winge about that stuff alot.
I am more interested in how these two pair off one another. I saw their kits and only one ability has any sort of play with the other partner and their recalls time together.
I do not see them being too overpowered, as a duo anyway; not in a way that makes playing either of them solo a weak experience. I won't be surprised if Xayah's--- the marksmen--- ratios are too high or whatever and she is over powered but them as a pair I do not see being an issue too much, I hope.
The only foreseeable Issue I can see is their shared re-spawn time. Like, one is in trouble and reaches the other who is 6/8 seconds of recalling and just avoid trouble. THAT is something a good duo will annoy a lot of people with but not an actual combat issue so I do see it being touched soon if it ever was a problem with timing being so good.
Anyway, as someone who does not mind support, I shall get Rakan when he become 6,300 IP (so a week later) and see how supporting as another Warden (Riot's subclass) goes.
I needed another support anyway and with me playing Thresh a lot, I guess this guy will suffice.
I just wonder about Xayah's W and Rakan's involvement being too strong at point 1.
Until we see ratios and cooldowns, it is safe to say that Raka will be fine. Xayah will be annoying for being another natural kiting marksmen, we had Kalista and before her Ashe. That and her ult makes her complete untargetable!!! I will complain more about that when she is released but I can see her natural kiting and that ult untargetable will be the bigger issues.
Let's hope that the AD ratios are okay with her so that people do not see that being. Until then, we will see.
