Climbing out of Bronze

is purely luck. By luck I mean having competent teammates rather than those who can't pick a champion outside of their "main" (mid or feed), feeders, afkers, dcer's, trolls, and not to mention those who have only 450ip champions to meet the requirement to enter a ranked lobby.

The only other way is to duo q with another skilled player.

P.S. Having a nunu on a team is an automatic loss for that team.

it is both luck and skill but if you play enough skill will override luck.

But since you are in bronze you likely don't have a a consistently strong showing compared to other players in your games so you are there by skill.

Accept this and you might be able to improve and escape.

Signed a player who found their way out of bronze.

Andi f ou want an example of how it is not pure luck but loaded luck think of every play as dice.

An average player has 1 through 6 A bad player has 1, 1, 1, 2, 3, and 4 A good player has 2, 2, 4, 4, 5, 6 A challenger might have 3, 5, 6, 6, 6, 6.

So while anyone can beat anyone the good player will tend to beat the avrage and bad player most of the time.

Each team has 5 dice meanign that while the good player providing a 5 will help it will not make up for everyone else rolling a 1 on his team while the other team has 4, 3, 3, 1 ,1 Aka 12>9

But overall the good player will consistently make for a much better chance of winning if he plays enough games. So if his team were all rolling 2 that would mean is team would beat that described team above

13>12

So stop focusing on your team mates building warmogs on Riven first thing and instead focus on making your role better.

work on getting one of the 1's on your die to be a 3 and things should start improving for you.

That is ridiculous. It may hold true for certain players, however a majority of bronze players are trolls, afker's. dcer's, flamers, rage quitters, and feeders.

An synopsis from my recent ranked game:

  • Me and my support were winning lane
  • We were ganked once successfully because a weird command prompt-like tab popped up on my desktop
  • I leave lane at 4-1 kda to help my team.
  • Zed claims he couldn't talk in chat because he wasn't connected when he clearly was
  • Zed askes heimerdinger to switch with him because he counters voli and heimer counters diana. This would put Zed top and heimer mid. (I for one do not believe in counters)
  • Zed goes 2-11 in lane before the 15 minute mark.
  • Heimerdinger holds his lane okay, not the best.
  • Udyr, our jungler, fails to smite a dragon and it was then stolen by the enemy team who didn't even have to smite.
  • Udyr claims he doesn't know how to jungle and never does.
  • Udyr dies in our own jungle five times.
  • This led to a fed top lane, mid lane, and jungler, ending up with me being the only fed-ish one (not very much compared to the eight+ kills that three members of the enemy team were able to rack up)

It is near impossible to successfully command and give your teammates tips while playing because typing would mean that you are not actively participating for x amount of time which could give the opposing team an advantage

In another game my teammate in lobby insisted he play adc so I let him. Normally i would play adc. He goes 0-10 in lane before the 20 minute mark while I am shutting down my lane.

The probability of winning a game in which teammates feed the enemy team is so low it's near impossible. And that is the case for a majority of bronze ranked games. I've literally had teammates run into a 1v5 situation and instead of escaping safely they would try to fight it. This normally happens throughout the game.

Here's a normal game: http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/1751560553/226866899?tab=overview In this game my entire team earns a negative kda, however because they were able to team fight and play smart without feeding lane we were able to win the game. This type of team is more likely able to be carried, e.g. more normal games being able to be carried than bronze ranked games.

Nunu is a champion that is ALL about teamwork. As a jungler he can only really create zone control in fights and buff the ADC. he is very strong early game in the jungle, but can't do much damage later once people start getting items.

Every game I've had with a nunu in our team he fed the enemy team without ever popping his ulti once whilst never slaying the dragon ever.

I've played nunu jungle before and I was able to solo slay the dragon at level 3 while the other jungler was too intimidated to try such a thing at a low level.

I think a better description for nunu is a champion that needs to be carried hard by teammates because wherever nunu is and whatever nunu does he will feed regardless.

I am saying you are bad and you belong where you are at since you can't provide enough for your team to consistently win at your current level of play.

You are your own problem.

You can call what I am saying stupid or wrong but it is the general idea of what happens and your situation isn't even a weird one.

Ever watched a bronze to diamond stream while during the bronze and silver part? It is usually nothing hard for a high diamond to do because have a skill gap compaired to everyone else in that rank. Their MMR increases with a consistent win rate usually above 80%.

You don't even have a win rate of 50% in ranked.

You are your own problem for being where you are.

A 6 game win streak in between 10 losses does not put you in a better spot and overall it puts you in a worse spot since you just got 10 more losses and only 6 more wins aka a less loss of 4.

MMR is decided based on consistency over many games and not a wining streak or a losing streak. The streaks will put you in a different MMR range but will not matter much 20 games down the road if you don't keep that trend up. The more you come on here saying the MMR system is stupid and you deserve silver or even Gold, the more you will be stuck in bronze because you are bad at decision making, bad at mechanical actions in the game and bad at accepting that you have to change your play before it will get better.

Your current win rate is 32% 14 wins out of 43 games played. That is way below average and you will likely be dropping to bronze 5 given your situation.

Are you ready to accept that you are the problem?
