I like how Shen got instanerfed as soon as he hits meta, Yet we buffed lee sin.

TL;DR Version: LEE = LC$BIGPLAY$
Is he really though? I havent seen lee in actual torunaments in years.
Did you even watch Worlds? Lee was a highly contested pick where players like Svenskeren in TSM vs RNG would play like an absolute monster or at late game where Meteos would land that one kick that would win C9 the game.
And yet hes still nowhere near as pick/ban as rek sai and i dont see anyone complaing about her.
I saw Lee waaay more than I saw Rek'sai at Worlds :l The only times I saw Rek'sai was when the rest of the top junglers were banned out

Watch game 5 of Rox vs Skt at worlds. Bengi the god himself makes amazing plays.
Seriously riot dump that fucking piece of shit called lee sin making it impossible to play immobile champs when the fucker is popular
Let's be fair here. Lee Sin was sitting at a 50% win rate in Plat+ at 101+ games. This is 5-7% lower than any other champion who's not gutted to hell. I was actually very surprized when I saw it, as the average for that many games usually sits at 56%. So yeah, I kinda see why he was buffed.
You forgot a Kappa
People downvoting you for stating the cold hard truth. Of 192 champs and their played positions, jungle Lee sin is #150. People just need to be honest and say they are tired of playing against lee.
Lee is annoying, but right now he's a sub par pick. All he has going for him in the late game is some hard to pull off initiation. Sure, early and mid (if his early was good) he's strong, but once late game comes his win rate drastically falls.

I am tired of playing against Lee. Regardless of his actual win rate or current popularity, it's not as engaging to play against as I would imagine it is to play as.
It's one of those things where he does insane shit, and the only way to balance his insane shit is to shit on his numbers. Then when people make a complaint, people say we don't have a right to complain because his winrate is sub 50, or 49, or whatever the acceptable percentage is, varying from person to person. Like, he could be sub 40% because of numbers, it doesn't stop him from doing the insane shit he does.
My issue with lee sin is that he can start his ultimate, cc'ing you by the way, and flash behind you to send you away from where he flashed. lol #skill
Then why use his ult at all if 80% of the time it kicks you away? It also completely burns flash, which is a 5 minute cooldown to redirect an ability. Does this mean no more flash taunts or flash belly blasters from Shen and Gragas? Gragas can do a lee kick on 5 enemies at once, and it's ranged.
I don't really think there's much comparison here, we're comparing a point and click ability to skill-shots. Not difficult to land skill shots by any means, but still being more difficult than clicking R. Gragas ult is even less of a comparison if you factor in that it has a travel time.
You can't call the dashes skillshots when you can literally flash onto the enemy to use them. They may as well be point and clicks at that point, not to mention they are basic abilities.
Clicking R? Isn't that what most ultimates are? Shen basically does that. Lee Sin has to aim his ult. How many times have you played with or against lee sin just to have him kick you into safety? When does a taunt or body slam do that?Gragas can E>Flash>ult for the same effect as a lee R>flash. The travel time is negligible when the enemy is stunned and it barely flies behind them, not to mention it can effect 5 enemies without any caluculations. Just throw it in between them.
Because lee is a high risk high reward, without global shield and autoattack blocking.
High risk? Low cooldown dash(es), self shielding, built in sustain, tiny cooldown knockback with collateral cc? Yeah I can see how risky Lee is to play.
In other news, Azir jungle is a great starting point for people completely new to League of Legends

And that's sure thing that Lee sin will hit his sanic wave on a squishy in a teamfight right? Even his ganks are garbage if you can sidestep his Q. Besides,Lee sin brings nothing but pure damage and reliant on snowballing, meanwhile Shen can shield an ally, taunt a group of enemies, free dodge for his team, all that while being tanky and still dealing damage.
I'm not the one to defend Lee sin,I may play him a lot but I'm not a dedicated fanboy, overall I think Lee sin is very toxic and should be reworked(there was a proposed rework by Riot but the braindead community went apeshit),but the difference is huge between semi assassin mobile Diver, and a tank with utility that no other champ got, still dealing decent damage.
I'm not going to bother arguing with a guy who uses skillshots as validation for a champion being difficult, then ignores them for another, simply to prove his point.

Dependency =/= difficulty.
Shen long cooldown taunt is a skillshot yet you pretend that landing it is a guarantee, then give me some bullshit about lee is risky because the short second cooldown skillshot is hard to land.

Shadow dash is definetly easier to land. 6 sec cd with 40% cdr isn't that high
Do the Shens you play with get max CDR? What a luxury... mustn't need the tank stats that much
Actually, I do. It doesn't really sacrifice the tank stats too much, only the issue with wasted mana. IBG+Visage makes it very easy to hit 40% (I run 10% as a standard in all my rune sets), and IBG isn't a bad item on Shen considering his cooldowns are short enough to be a sheen user. That being said, sheen weaving with Shen takes skill to manage his cooldowns to coincide with the sheen cd and his energy regen.
Oh so you actually take IBG? I confess I haven't done that myself but I've almost always considered it. So it works?
It does, but do note that he is, as an energy user, a lot less forgiving than a standard mana-using sheen user in the sense that if you spam mindlessly hoping for a random proc here and there between spams cough
cough, you'll waste the few precious procs he can get with spellweaving, since he can barely manage about 2 rotations at max CDR before you run dry.
That being said, having his ult on a 72s cooldown, with some waveclear is something I find very useful for splitpushing.

Max CDR is kind of bad on energy gaited champs. I find 20-30 ideal with maybe 25 as being the best. I run shen with scaling CDR blue and usually just get SV as an item with CDR.
It is, if you don't control your energy usage. Sometimes you might need to E twice within a short period, which also means you probably can't Q. But at the very least, the option to do that is there if needed. That being said, If you're just using Q (without anything else when farming or dueling), you have just enough regen to literally have it on permanently at 40% CDR.

Very true but I think it is pretty easy to lose track of your energy sometimes in a big skirmish and if you have nothing around you to Q and get energy back it makes it even more difficult even with 40% CDR. But having your ult on a 72 second CD sounds pretty nice. =)

Not it's not and it's range is definitely not nearly as long as Lee's Q not can Shen land his taunt outside of vision without burning his flash...

they are actaulyl LESS garbage than
ganks.. and everyone is crazy psychotic about them.
the reason why lee and nid are banne dand pick in lcs is.. becuase they are skillshot reliant and do heavy damage, when you pikc them with a team that can stun/snare/ root the enemy..it makes it braindead simple to land the skillshot. and IF that skillshot lands.. they generally will win the trade/ teamfight
implying that shen who has to dive in literally head first into danger without any reall means of getting out exept waiting for his Q cd. is not high risk.
This is why Shen builds full tank and almost no one focuses him unlike Lee. Also his defense for diving is his built in shield and autoattack block.

Shen builds full tank, has great tank steroids, and is statistically the second least likely top laner to die in the game (after Malphite).
That's the very definition of low risk.
God damn Riot.
Buffs Vayne, right before Vayne "buffs" in pre-season. Nerfs Twitch, right before Twitch "nerfs" in pre-season.
I'll never understand them.
So nothing changed since Season 2 and the rework accomplished nothing.
Why I'm not surprised?
Its sad because Shen isn't even that toxic. Sure his ult is strong af in pro play and all that but Kal needs heavy changes before she can be buffed.
Didnt see this coming
Itemize. I have yet to be trashed by a lee sin... Now that I think about it, I don't remember dying to one at all in the past few months.
