Thoughts on 7.9 before we actually get our hands on it?

As someone who exclusively plays tank tops, I'm really looking forward to the patch changes.

Changes to , , and Rift Herald are what I'm looking forward to most.

Mao'kai is going to return as a legit jungler again with these changes. His ult is going to make setting up ganks a lot easier to.

I'm not looking forward to changes to and just because of the loss of health, but the increased healing stat will be a boost on some champs.

Any other thoughts?

Also, I think there was a patch in Season 4 that basically got entirely reverted the following patch. So 7.9 has some stiff competition in

Support changes really. I don't play tanks at all and Im not really thinking about buying Zac Sej and Maokai currently the new item 3301 item looks cool

The thing I'm most excited about is the remade item 1054 . We might actually see a little more variety in starting items.

The Zac nerfs going through are very disappointing and uncalled for.

Other than that, the new support quests look cool. I dunno how to feel about mage supports getting nerfed with less mana regen but most people seem to dislike AP carry supports so who knows how it will work out.

I'm looking forward to this patch but I'm afraid of extreme abuse cases concerning Gargoyle Stoneplate (and notably Cho'gath). They should really make an exception for this item and let it reduce true damage inflicted as well.
