Is it just me or?

so for the last week or so of this event i have seen probably 20-30 Rivens with the skin plus boarder and maybe 10 or so Yasuos (be it ranked/blind pick/aram) yet when you go into a game 5-6 people have the Yas icons and maybe 2 have the riven one? (There are exceptions to this but this is what i see to be the more common result)

Now call it what you will but visually i think riot did a much better job designing the riven skin/boarder/icons then they did with the Yasuo ones but yet for some reason the people that love to hate on Yasuo and Yas mains are backing his side with the missions?

Also i don't get why Yas is winning anyway, Riven on paper is the counter to Yasuo right?

I can't be the only one who noticed this and thinks the community is doing this backwards

well thats more of the hate for him tbh but even in non-ban modes when hes picked he is usually the skin w/o the boarder or default

You're free to think that, but it doesn't mean you're right.

The Riven skin is much nicer imo (but it's not a hard comparison when the hair for the Yasuo skin is straight up butt ugly). I guess people are just more drawn to the concept of an edgy swordsman. Who knows though.

I just think they did a really bad job on the Yasuo skin. It's splash art is amazing but then you load into game with it and you're like "Oh...." and it's a really shitty feeling whenever that happens. Plus they also did a really good job on the Riven skin imo.
