Kayn champion problems

Warning: Bad at english

I'm having a problem with playing Kayn / Against any champion.

(Besides my problems with him, even silver-plat players I've observed struggle to utilize him.)

I farm up, blow flashes, gank kills but mid to late game I'm to squishy to dive and engage.

If I split into a lane and try to pull enemy aggro. Baron is rushed by the enemy or my team loses a fight and we basically lose from there.

I'm super squishy, I have a urge to go tank but I know it's a waste of time.

If I ever itemize defense I do zero damage as any typical base stat champ would.

I'm looking at guides and probuilds but I don't even know where to start with finding replays to study.

I looked at your most recent Kayn game(in which I assume you went shadow assassin), and there are 2 main problems. The first issue is that the enemy team was just inherently hard to assassinate, they had lots of shields and cc. That's out of your control, the only thing you can do is consider waiting for rhaast if you think their team will be too hard to kill.

The second issue I see is that your build is all wrong. First of all, you take talisman and refillable potion on Kayn, not machete and potions. After you complete warrior enchant, you should be rushing ghostblade and duskblade, not black cleaver and edge of night. As an assassin, you won't be applying full stacks of cleaver before you or your target is dead, and edge of night isn't worth building until you have the other lethality items.

According to op.gg, you took w level 1 and maxed it first, while you took q level 3 and maxed it second. It should be the exact opposite. Lastly, there is no reason to go resolve secondary as an assassin. Just go sorcery secondary to pick up gathering storm and celerity. These runes are useful for both of Kayn's forms.
