Can We Please Buff BotRK?

The item has traditionally been balanced around and (being the best users). Vayne rarely builds it and Kali is one of the only ADCs that isn't viable.

The item was mainly a health-stacking counter but it's rarely built on anyone EVEN WITH the prevalence and popularity of all these AP items with health attached ( , , ) and let's not forget the allmighty .

I know Riot's reworking armor pen but just LOOK at the popularity of vs. in your games. I mean come on, we're not even in tank meta anymore where buffing a %hp damage item would be problematic.

Oh and even if you want to duel someone, does the job 10x better while deals with health stacking whoever 10x better and don't even mention all the better "sustain" items there are.

I feel like your post pretty well addresses why they can't buff BORK. Yes, it's not amazing at HP-shredding, and it's not amazing at dueling, and it's not amazing at sustaining. You know why? Because it's trying to do all of those things at once. When BORK was very powerful, it was too good, because it was successfully doing all of those things at once and on top of that had extremely problematic "BORK + 5 tank item" builds that made champions like Fizz disasters (and no doubt would have sprung up with Ekko this year too).

They can buff BORK when its design has any kind of focus but it was not at all healthy before they nerfed it and it wouldn't be healthy if buffed again now either.

the item is supposed to be a nieche item.

it was broken, when it was stronger since it wasnt just good against health stackers. for too many champions it was a powerful rush item in any situation.

item 3034 is now your standart item to amplify damage against high health targets. and item 3153 is meant to be a nieche item to be paired with a dom for cases of extreme health stacking on the enemy team.

lets not forget its interaction with item 3124 and item 3085 and Kindred

buffing it would be incredibly risky, and frankly unecessary. the game is already overloaded when it comes to damage. and if anything we need to dial it back a good bit and not buff damage even more.

I still get botrk on WW and olaf for super lifesteal tankage. Sometimes on Kayle too

Tanks and bruisers are having a hard enough time right now and you want to buff Botrk? There's already enough damage flying all over the place without another item to invalidate defensive itemization.
