In a recent patch they adjusted her so that she had more incentive to build AP, and less incentive to build tanky. That didn't work however, and she still does and should build tanky. I'm wondering if RIOT is still considering how to make her build AP, or if they've decided that the endeavor is a lost cause.
your only health item as soraka should be a warmogs(because regen) other than that she really is better as a tank support than an ap support. ap can work but being a tank makes your health(which you have to use) go further.
it kinda like how they want people to jungle shyvana. even though she is stronger toplane than jungle since all she has is waveclear since her ganks are awful.
If you want a tank then play a tank, if you want a healer, play Soraka. Tank Soraka seems completely useless to me. People will stop focusing her, but for all the wrong reasons (she'll kill herself fast enough anyway).
Raka shouldn't be tanky, she needs only the health regen part of tank itemization. I don't know, maybe build this new ZZ'Rot Portal and go AP for the rest of the build?
