Veigar or Twisted Fate?

Hello, so I've been thinking I want a Mage mid laner as I have always had an assassin when I played mid (Talon). I've been deciding between Veigar and Twisted Fate. Veigar seems to be very strong and bursty at the moment, but I already have lots of burst champions. TF seems to have better consistent damage output but seems harder to play. So what do you think? Thanks in advanced!

TF is better imo, he has pretty much global pressure through out the entire laning phase which can turn fights in your favor if you use it correctly. Veigar is farm oriented early game and super easy to beat in lane. I personally don't think tf is that hard to pick up but I don't really play him much

The question is do you want to win your lane or other lanes more. TF is for team plays, Veigar more self-oriented.

I'd content that after laning phase Veigar overtakes TF as the teamwork champion, with his cage really messing up the enemy team in teamfights.

Quite true, but if TF goes in without his team and he's not super ahead he's hella dead :P Veigar at least has a good chance of getting away.

I like veigar more, you can just spam laugh all game

Tf because not only is he a really strong late game champ/mid owner, you can also play him in the jungle and as adc.

You can't really play him jungle anymore. The whole camp resets are changed with the whole new "patience" system. So you can no longer kite around the monsters.

yah, but you can still go like ap or warrior and your stun is amazing.

IMO Veigar is just better in general, all you have to do is learn to stack you q, and you're golden. I always feel like TF's damage is just lacking, veigar however has no problem with this.
