Top Thresh

So, almost every time I pick Thresh for top, about 85% of the time, I have to explain why. I mean, I feel top Thresh is awesome. More often than not however, even if I do well, and for some reason we lose, everyone is so quick to blame me, even if I'm the only one positive, or even. And if I am negative, chances are, I'm getting camped. Thresh top is so powerful with his e passive, and also all the armor he gets from souls is too good. Without building armor, I usually have over 115 armor just from souls I've collected, before the laning phase is even over. I don't know, I think people are too stuck in the head of who goes where, and if it's not a part of the meta, than you're the reason for the loss, no matter how bad everyone else did, and never the reason the team won. Some champions, sure, simply HAVE to go in certain lanes, but I think Thresh top should be more widely accepted.

I played AD thresh in Nemesis mode. Went godlike. Top lane thresh is legit.

I just stacked 3x BF swords for 500 on hit magic damage. AD thresh scales insanely hard with AD. Once you have 1x BF sword, you can push anyone out of lane. Once you have 2x BF sword (thats just 3100 gold, before other laner could possibly finish an item) you have 300 on-hit magic damage and can kill them in 2-3 empowered autos. At 3x BF sword build you all in them with hook, dash, auto, E, auto, R, ignite, and they're done. For the 3x BF sword build, turn that into BT and 2x IE, then it almost doesn't matter what you have next, though Triforce/LW/boots are nice.

I believe with BT, 2x IE, Triforce, LW and boots, you can 1 shot any other ADC with 6 items if you crit. You don't need defensive items thanks to Thresh's self peel and passive.

I've reviewed your thresh games. Your mistake was in finishing IE. Crit is useless on thresh until late game. He scales off pure AD. Just get 3x BF swords. Your other mistake was in finishing BT. That could've been another BF sword if you just waited for 400 more gold; sit on the vamp scepter, 3x BF swords, boots and sheen until you can't buy more basic AD items and need to finish BT, or you have sustain issues and need to finish BT early (but you shouldn't; once you have 2x BF swords no one can stay in lane against you).

I'd also suggest ignite > TP, since you want to guarantee a kill with lantern ganks if you land your hook.
