So, I just played as Kalista, and my issue is, I activated the black spear on Braum, however, Amumu was somehow able to bind with it instead. Why is this possible? If I click on a champ to bind with, only they should be able to do so. Another thing, in this situation, I wanted to unbind with Amumu, and bind with Braum, but there is no viable way of doing so.
You are able to purchase the black spear in the shop, and for what? You can't do anything with it. I was thinking that maybe you could override the initial binding, but nope. I feel that Riot should make it so that you are able to unbind and rebind with someone else, if even in only the first 5 minutes of gameplay. That way if this happens, or even if your Oathsworn dc's, you can rebind with someone else.
The part with the dc should be available after about 2 minutes of that dc taking place, if not maybe the amount of time for Kalistas ult. In either case, I feel there should be some sort of safeguard in place, to protect players from these types of situations.
Personally I think it shouldn't be a bind option. I think it should be that people that are close to you periodically gain stacks on a buff that doesn't actually do anything. After a certain amount, that person becomes soul bound while those stacks are still above that amount, and no one else gains stacks. While they are away from you, it decays. Also, if no one's been around you for a while, the first person to come near you gains stacks at an accelerated rate. This would accomplish a few things.

If you have a really really bad teammate, you can just go be buddies with someone else.

If your soul-bound dcs, you aren't gimped for the rest of the game.

It opens up counter-play for the enemy team, because they can keep pushing one of the two out of lane, and they won't achieve enough stacks.

You could then make it so the ult purges some the stacks, thus making it more of a strategic choice instead of what I'm seeing a lot of, just a "hey, c'mere"
The reason why I would support this is because, while Kalista's ridiculous damage would stay intact, it can actually be outplayed. I just feel that as it is, Kalista has a very strong advantage in the outplay department that other ADC's Don't have. This would make it so her early game can be buffed a tad, and then weaken out her late game because has strong ways that she can be outplayed, much like how Twitch and Vayne can be severely limited with proper stealth detection/positioning management.
It would also open Kalista to move around by herself a bit more, since so much of her damage isn't dependent on having that one person with her at all times. It would also help to rectify the issue that Kalista and her supports are having with relic shield.
