Pykes passive and shields
So pyke regens "X% of damage he has taken from champions recently" so my question is if he takes damage while shielded does that count? can he get healed by damage if it doesn't break the shield?

If it works like Tahm Kench's grey health, then no. It converts the lost health specifically into the grey health. The shields were never health to begin with, so it doesn't get converted.
