Conqueror damage Hashinshin playing Renekton
I am not here to judge or say that conqueror is broken, but that is a fat number coming from a rune. The match ended at ~45 minutes with ~8500 on Conqueror :) [slayer-pantheon-popcorn]

The damage shown on the tooltip is a bit misleading because it's total true damage dealt, but if the true damage wasn't dealt generally speak 2/3 to about half of it would be dealt as regular damage. So it can be really hard to get a good gauge on how much it's doing.
That said it's OP
When I get readings of 3000 true damage done, when I mouse over it, usually it’s only like 500-800 damage dealt that would have otherwise not been dealt.
It’s only really strong becaus of the bonus AD you get on top of the true damage. That really makes the rune strong, otherwise it woild be pretty weak.
When I took the screenshot he had done ~3000 true damage from the rune. It is not much stronger than an electrocute on a spell caster champion, but I agree that the bonus AD on top of the True damage is what makes the rune simply much stronger than electrocute and pretty much any other rune.
As the other two have said - true damage alone is meaningless. All that matters is what would have actually been mitigated.
