for real... is there a counter play? whatever damage you deal , he just heals it from Q and R he can dodge all the skill shots like fizz R from using W he deals insane damage (1200+ LATE GAME) Whats the counter play?

chunks half his kit. Other than that he has no real way of hard engaging besides letting him walk up. His E can be bodyblocked by team mates or minions. His has quite large HP costs so he cant spam. You mention him blocking spells with W, but his W actually costs A LOT of HP. His sustain is practically non-existent early. His empowered Q is so telegraphed that if you get hit by it in lane, its your fault.

The best counter play to vlad is anything that can apply grievous wounds including ignite. You have to time it right in lane and hit him with it before he tries to sanguine pool away.
