Change how Gold is distributed from Kills?
Just curious what the impact to the game would be if the "Kill" gold was distributed based on your contribution to the kill. I'm not talking about "assist" gold but the "last hit" kill gold. What if when the champion dies, whatever gold the person who last hit was going to get was instead redistributed to all people who contributed to the kill.
In essence, when an enemy champ died, everyone who hit the champ would would get gold like today but divided different. If the last person to get the kill did 5% of the damage, then he would get 5% of the 50-500g Kill money + the 50% assist money. Bounties would still be divided as "Team gold".
What I believe this will do is:
- allow supports to go ham without fear of accidentally getting the last kill. (if they only did 10% of the damage, the adc would still get 90% of the kill money)
- prevent trolling from kill stealers
- If you did 95% of the damage and die and then your jungle or a global ult comes by and kills the person that killed you, you are still rewarded for doing 95% of the damage.
- prevents teams from snowballing early when a player comes in after a huge fight and everyone is 3% health and gets a quick one button triple kill and now has 3 kills worth of gold early. In this new system he would get 9% of the gold from the 3 kills.
Just my thoughts and curious what the community thinks of them.
