Usualy dmg reduction doesnt affect on true dmg 
. But what about self dmg reduction debuff on GS? For example ChoGath ult and this 60% dmg dealt reduction.
Also it gives 100% hp on active if 3 champs near. Sooo... what happen after 4 seconds? HP stays or dissapear?

It does however matter on how this item applies the damage reduction.
If it is a direct change to the numbers in the base of the equation then this will not even matter.
KylerEzraStar1 votesI feel this item should not reduce your own true damage. ^^ Though, as Devil's advocate, I feel it is meant for strictly running away or getting in to apply cc. So maybe Damage should be the least of our worries anyway. ^^

4 seconds for Darius to stack passive when enemy team focus him (happens often). 80 armor and mr btw. Just smash active when u fall rly low and deal 1k dmg to everyone around. If there is no handicap on true dmg

And im happy about it. They just usualy stat check him all in mode.
