Recent Rengar survey and my thoughts on his rework

Although I havent got the survey myself personally, I have been around and asked people about it after i saw it from a friend, and i really feel like our voice needs to be heard on this issue.

People who play Rengar do not like this change AT ALL a lot of the hate garnered for this champion is in lower elo where he can be super succesful becuase of the ability of players in that elo, his old design was completely fine after his pre-rework nerf and in higher elo's it is quite rare for me to fully pop-off on this champion anymore becuase players have improved.

New Rengar is better as a tank than an assasin belive me going item 3071 item 3812 item 3065 item 3742 item 3026 is so good on him, becuase of the heal and the rapid double prock of his q. I really dont want anouther Ekko situation, especiialy after he is getting nerfed AGAIN which is likely going to make this tank build more popular

He is not as fun anymore, strait up, hes not an assasin Hes too easy now, you dont need to be good at Rengar to get the one shots, theres no skill required becuase you press one button and a lone adc is dead, hence why he is banned alot in low elo compared to higher elo. I enjoyed using the hydra and timing everything correctly and having those one shot bursts when you are fed and not having a free crit on my ult to compensate for its uselessness. He feels stale and a lousy attempt at making the community not hate him as much, which i s why he hasnt had a skin in alost 2 years, probably more. His Q is clunky and his ult is so much worse especially in teamfights and his SOUNDS omg, i ahve to turn down my sounds becuase his W and E and R are not good quality

Old Rengar was more Balanced than new Rengar you wonder why his ban rate spiked after his rework not just becuase people were scared of him, but becuase he new kills people easier, and fuctions as this fighter whos q's and ferocity stack so well you cant win duels against him, im trashing mundos when i have 3 items and he has 4 its stupid.

I, and many others who really enjoy and appreciate Rengar want a revert, similar to Kog-Maw His old self was not banned as much as the current one and was not as downright boring, stale and easy. I want a renagr that needs the hydra and the old q that was an auto reset becuase it was so much more fun, played a lot smoother and felt right as an assasin, not as a tank or fighter. We need the old Rengar back becuase it will inspire a glass cannon build again with the hydra and weaker yomuus.

P.S - While we are on the subject can you revert Gragas too? Becuase holy moly you put him in the dirt with his ult changes

As a Rengar main, i agree with this. I'm especially unhappy with his ult change. (And feel as though it's the reason Rengar is now better off as a bruiser/tank)

In terms of an assassin play style, the warning range is absurd and enemies see you coming from a mile away and just run off to their hidden team mates. I feel like ulting and hunting down a target is basically baiting yourself most of the time (especially mid to late game). I feel like the reason he's banned so often is because his early game is ridiculous. He snowballs too fast with his passive (and as you stated, in lower elos they haven't figured out how easy it is to outplay his ult).

New ult is making hunting impossible in mid/late game, which is turning him into a bruiser/tank in higher levels of play.

His W is also best suited for a tankier play style. I say gut it (remove the cleanse), and nerf the passive so his early game isn't so absurd. To compensate, return the ult warning back to the way it once was, so we can hunt again, and actually play Rengar like an assassin in the mid/late game. Either that, or revert Rengar to the way he was pre rework (without the clunky E that flies over enemies heads).

This new q make me quit and his r's crit makes me fell like a monkey.

Nobody likes the new Rengar. Riot please change him to what he used to be before
