Fizz...

Okay, I am about to irritate a lot of Fizz mains out there...Fizz

Your champion if NOT healthy in the game. Fizz is a champion that sends me on tilt just by seeing a hover over him becuase he has such a deep history as the champion who is un-fun and irritating to play against.

Now this isnt just going to be a rant on why i hate Fizz (shout-out RossBoomSocks) but i do want to adress what can be done about him to make him a more healthy champion.

Honestly most of his spells are nothing special, but i think that his e really needs a minor tweak, becuase it is incredibly strong and can single handedly win team fights and 1v1 duels. In a way it walls into a chategory similar to Fiora's reposte, but becuase you dont build ap on Fiora (usually) it doesnt also deal tons of damage (unlike everything else in her kit). The ability to go untargetable and take 0 dmaage means you can dodge anything at the press of one button, which you can then do 8 seconds later. Lets list some of the other spells where you can go untargetable:

Lissandra - Her ult must be used on herself and she gains some health, but she has this in a long cooldown and cannot move while using it Zilean Aatrox - Have the same untargetable feature with a revive that once again has a decent long cooldown Bard - His ult is hard to master and easy to screw up, also has a cast time before reaching the target Vladimir - Losses alot of his health for 2.5 sec of untargetability, and can move

Fizz - 0 cost at all to use it (apart from mana) - Has the ability to jump over walls with it - Deal alot of damagae if you build ap - so much outplay potential in one move - combine this with zhonias, CDR, and a guardian angel and consider this Fish too slippery

So what should be done about it, honestly not much.Playful Trickster has become so synonymous with Fizz that i feel like removing it is pointless (RITO wouldnt do this anyway) so i suggest that playful should allow fizz to beocme unargetable still, but not allow trickster to move him to anouther spot. Where he uses playful is the spot he will land in when Trickster is actived. It does hurt his mobility a bit, but it means you can prepare for what fizz is about to do and counter it, and maybe even run. Or you could make playful similar to how Thresh's q works when he glides accros the room, and have fizz targetable but with** 0 cost to his mobility.**

I understand how awesome it is as a move to use but i think its too strong for such a small cost, and its outplay ability needs to be adressed so that fizz can dodge all 5 ults in one move.

This is honestly** just my opinion**, and i dont think that Fizz is a priority target for any kind of re-work (for lack of a better word) and I can deal with Fizz if im playing an off tank champ like Shyvana Irelia or Garen

Let me know what you think about it :D

Have you even talked to a fizz main? Have you heard the opinions on fizz from high elo players? I can't count the amount of times I have to defend my champion because people refuse to learn how to play around him and instead get pissed off when a fizz does what he's designed to do.

In reality there are no good champions that are "Fun to play against". If you're losing then you're not going to be having fun, but I'll keep the discussion to the topic that the post is about and the main source of fizz hate comes from. His E.

First I just want to say Fiora's W is more broken than Fizz's E for the simple fact that fizz's E can be outplayed or become useless against a large amount of different spells while fiora outright mitigates any and all forms of damage and CC by pressing a button without any amount of thought or risk.

Now lets discuss what a durability based ability is. Durability is a basic term used for anything that keeps a champion alive not just tanky stats or anything like people would think. For instance Diana shield is counted as a way to make her durable, same thing with zeds shadow dash that allows him to get out of fights once he's dealt his damage. Any ability that will keep a champion alive is durability.

With that explanation out of the way let me ask you this: What would happen if you took the durability away from melee assassins like diana or zed? The hard answer to this is that they'd die instantly. Assassins need durability for the chance to escape fights once they've done what they need to do other wise they'd be useless suicide bombers that'd likely die before even getting through the front line. I mean could you imagine how bad of a champion zed would be without the ability to blink back to his shadows?

Now don't get me wrong there are assassins without durability like rengar or Talon BUT they are compensated with high damage to 100% KO their target and still get a chance and killing off more people.

Now to the main subject. Fizz. Or more specifically his E. Just like I've stated above Assassins need their durability to live and Fizz's durability is obviously his E, now what would happen if he didn't have it? He doesn't have a blink, he has a dash but that can miss, he's not tanky so he won't last more than a few seconds once focused. The point of this is once his E is out of the equation fizz is a sitting duck ready to stuffed like a thanksgiving turkey by anyone with a decent chunk of damage or CC. This is something you learn early when picking up fizz as your mana costs and CD for using E before you pick up items is back breaking to the point where you almost can't even use your E to dodge things like it's meant for because you'll run dry on mana after 3 uses and if you use it like an idiot and get caught you're sleeping with the fishes. (Joke intended)

Fizz is designed to allow players to outplay enemies by dodging key abilities and win 1v1's then snowball. But of course when people blindly blow their abilities somehow expecting fizz to NOT dodge it and then get punished for it they'll call "OP" as if they did nothing wrong and there was no possible way for them to do any better.

Now you of course suggest reworking it to be a stationary ability to add counterplay when in reality Fizz's E can be predicted extremely easily and outplayed as long as you aren't a Potato.

If anything fizz is considered to be one of the weaker Mid laners because in high elo most mid laners (Not champions but the actual players who play mid) will easily crush a fizz then come late game fizz couldn't get ahead so he's come to the point where he can't even assassinate a squishy in teamfights without getting blown to bits effectively shutting him out of the game and making him a useless champion.

Riot has said before they won't change or nerf his e. They have their reasons and all the posts in the world won't change it.
