Question About Intentional Feeders

Everyone hates intentional feeders. They remove skill requirements for a win and put everyone on their team in a worse mood because of it. Thankfully, the report option does help weed these players out. I had a game less than 30 minutes ago where my team destroyed the enemy team in all lanes. The enemy thresh/cait bot lane were pretty tilted and the thresh referred to her as having "down syndrome", being clearly on hard tilt. I requeue and I get both of them in the same role. Interesting, maybe premade? Regardless, the thresh in the chat which I have saved, says that he is going to intentionally feed and takes support veigar with cleanse/clarity. My question is - given that I have him admitting to this and linking a URL to buying a new league of legends account, can I report this player in anyway to riot here in the forums for real punishment?

I would be more concerned about them taking Clarity onto the Rift. Clarity is for Howling Abyss only, and you don't have roles there.

Forgive me, I only glanced at his summoners during his hover of galio then veigar before locking in the veigar. They were 2 summoners, one definitely cleanse, and one I assumed was clarity. The point is, he picked two summoners he had no business taking for the purpose of losing the game. I'm interested in how the overarching message went over your head.

People like to embellish their complaints to make them seem more valid. That's my problem with your post. Quite simply put, people are allowed to take any summoner spells they want. The only requisite Summoner spell for any role is Smite for Jungle. People are also allowed to play any champion they want in these roles, therefore determining intent is no simple matter.

KDA does not equal intent. Neither does someones pick phase. You have no idea what they're capable of or what they know about the champions they're using. A Teemo main, for example, could probably get away with playing Teemo in any role with any summoner spells. You don't have the right to call something intentional simply because you think it is.

However, if they whine about it in chat, then you have something to work with. Send a report and let Riot sort it out. After that, move on with your day, because it will accomplish nothing for you to wonder about it.

I don't care if you aren't taking me at my word, which is why this post isn't a cry for riot to ban him. I have my evidence I'm wanting to submit to riot and that's where I'll make my case. He flat out said that he was going to throw the game, and that will be presented to riot when appropriate. I also don't have to know what he's "capable of" to know that support veigar with cleanse ghost is a troll after he explicitly states his intention to feed. I again don't see how this very simple, clear cut message is so difficult to understand. I'll simplify it for you then. Assume this happened

Summoner X: "Hey guys, I'm going to intentionally feed this game and I'll buy another account from the internet (leagueaccounts.excention) when this account gets banned. I'm also taking bad summoner spells for the purpose of losing us this game."

Now that the "difficulties" are removed, how does one report this player for clear unsportsmanlike behavior?

You had your chance in the post game. You can also send a Support Ticket to Riot if it really bothered you so much. That's the only recourse you have left. But I would suggest that you simply move on and let the devs handle this kind of thing.

By the way, Veigar Support is actually a thing. He has good synergy with Vayne and Tristana, specifically, and can make use of the Relic Shield to stack his PEP on minions. Summoner Spells in the Support Role aren't really an issue. If he hadn't said anything about his desire to throw, Riot would have nothing to work with in this case.

Oh, I reported him in the game before. Clearly his account wasn't suspended for his conduct in the game prior. I have the chat of him saying he is going to intentionally throw this game, locking in veigar with 2 borderline useless summoners (cleanse + another), and saying he'll just buy another league account and linking a URL to the page. I don't think he should be able to keep playing if that's the attitude he holds towards the game, and I wanted to know how/if I can report him for that pregame dialogue.

Yeah, you can e-mail player support the screenshots if you'd like but they won't give you a heads-up if they punish him. On the boards they'll just remove them though, gotta do it direct.
