please let this item show how much damage it can block

It's kinda hard to do that, since the amount of shielding is variable to the amount of mana you currently have. The main idea of the item is that "When you have a lot of mana left, you take a lot less damage when you pop the item" and vice versa

Because Soraka's heal is not Variable. It is a flat amount that gets a boost for targets that are below a certain threshold. Seraph's Embrace's shield value changes constantly based on how much mana you have left, which can be anywhere from 20 to 2000

Except it already calculates for the AP. The sield itself does not have a flat portion of shielding, it is all based on your remaining mana, which can change on a whim. Your AP is not going to be making any major changes from one period of 10 seconds to the next, making it possible to show you how much your AP will modify the heal
