I hate when I come across this. You can have my red after I have taken 2, maybe 3. You can take the second blue if you aren't massively behind. But don't just take my jungle farm just because it was there and you happened to walk past it. Ask me before you walk around and take my camps. Chances are I will need farm for money so I can be THE PERSON THAT ENGAGES FIGHTS. Do people expect the jungler to do 100% best at ganking, map control, dragon control and still give up their jungle farm because "It isn't yours its the teams."

so...how would you feel if the jungler randomly came to your lane. and took your CS. without ganking, just taking the cs from you.

the jungle camps are their money, their "lane cs" take their gold away and chances are they're going to have to come to a lane and steal cs, depriving another laner of gold..

those camps are their livelihood those buff, like red for example help with ganking, of course they need the first few reds. and the blue? if you're feeding you don't deserve blue.

Out of all the camps the only one I don't want them to take at any stage of the game is the birds, and the only one they seem to take at all stages of the game is the birds...

If I'm next to the birds when they spawn I'll just take it. If I'm not next to the birds I'm doing something else that I feel is important, and would prefer if my team would leave the chicken buff for me instead of take their few gold.

As you said in another post here "be considerate to your laners' needs". Well it would be rather nice if they would do the same, that's all I'm saying here, particularly if they lost their lane. No need to set your jungler behind too if you dug yourself a hole you can't get out of.

I mean, you are literally wasting gold when a non-jungler kills jungle camps since they get more gold out of killing them raising his advantage. You should only kill camps when you are behind or are really in a need for quick gold.

I played a game as elise where this cait was taking my golems and i was almost there. That jungle buff is the best for Elise. So i went and smited it as she got close to killing it and she was like "wtf?!" She was stealing the best buff for Elise in the game without asking and i had pinged that i was heading there and she says that to me. Then she wonders why i wouldn't let her have red.

It's also common practice in LCS for the toplaner to follow the jungler around to leech XP while the first clear is done, that way you can better respond to lane switches.

In low-level play, where that doesn't happen, players shouldn't do it.

Hell, when I am killing a crab, if my jungler comes close, I will let him kill it just for the extra gold , because the team with more money has more chance to win right .

I think it all comes down to just know what is the best for the team, should I let my jungler the kill so he can gank other lanes more easily ?

Should he let me the kill so I can snowball more ?

I think if everyone thought like this, it would be much better .

I'm highly HIGHLY against gifting kills. Unless you know their flash is down and their escapes are on cooldown, if you come to gank, go HAAM. I would much rather the enemy die and have my support or my jungler get the kill than have them escape and have no one get the kill.

Who would deny the support kill gold? I always want my support to get first blood when I'm ADC if possible since it jump starts their gold generation / sightstone and a strong support can protect me / set up kills better.

With ADCs having near guaranteed gold funneled into their mouth with at least one person making sure that the spoon makes it to their face, I can't imagine how the mentality that "every kill is mine!!!" sprang up : literally every other player on the team benefits more from it in the first 10 minutes from a percentual income and impact perspective.

I hate when I'm doing the rift scuttler and then someone on my team decides to use one auto or spell to get the last hit while roaming back to their lane. Like deadass. I had to walk around to kill it and then you just last hit it..

Those are the morons that I wish I never see again, but always do. The jungle 100% belongs to the jungler. Just like mid laners would get mad at you for standing in their lane CSing if you were a top laner, or if you Support stole all your farm as ADC, because it is the right that they are given with the role they chose. You chose top, so you farm in top (unless lane swapping). You chose support, so you use a gp10 item to keep up. You chose mid, so you farm mid. I chose jungle, so I farm MY jungle, just like you farm YOUR lane.

Junglers are not your slaves, and the jungler decides whether you can farm their jungle or not, and their word is final, because if your jungler gets behind, usually you all fall behind (unless they got you fed already). Late game when lanes are meaningless, sure take some camps, but you sure as heck better not gripe about your jungle farming a wave if you are farming his camps.

But everyone farms the jungle? Like Maokai/Sion is gonna kill Wolves or Raptors and bot lane is gonna take Krugs or Gromp. Most of the first 10 minutes the lanes are too busy to take any jungle mobs but arguing that mid/AD shouldn't get a buff until 20 minutes seems pretty retardo. Especially since the enemy jungler isn't likely to deny their laners that kind of power for the mid-game team fights.

If the jungler is focusing the other side of the map or is actively counter-jungling I don't see any reason to not take nearby camps. Leaving stuff available for the enemy jungler to steal doesn't help the team. That only applies if your lane is being frozen and your jungler is too busy to help break the freeze though, not just roaming and wasting CS in lane to screw your teammate over.

I also don't think having a jungler come into the lane and CS is too bad either, as long as it serves a secondary purpose like pushing the wave into the tower so you can B. That or having them help freeze a lane near your tower while you are not there.

Yes, that is fine. My point isn't so much "never take CS from the lane or the jungle if you aren't a laner or jungler" it's that I'm tired of people who farm my jungle camps and then get mad if I hold a lane or take a couple CS after helping them get a kill. This is a lot more nuanced than just "stick to your lane", because you always have to consider whether everyone is keeping up. If your lane is behind? Sure take a couple camps to catch up, I'll rotate to your lane where the enemy is to strong and you can focus on farming in peace.

Basically, this isn't really about who owns anything on the map, it is more about efficiency and being considerate of your teammates.

There are assholes in the game and the laner only maybe has to deal with the one (if it's the jungler) but the jungler probably always has to deal with one because there are 4 people he's interacting with.

It's worse because everyone thinks they have to solo carry every game, but they bitch if somebody else is too weak even though they've been denied by their own teammates the entire time. It's a testament to how resilient the junglers are that any games get off the ground at all.

If my lane is rough I don't whine at the jungler about it, but it can be tough getting 2v1'ed and pushed too far away to get XP. As long as he's making something awesome happen somewhere else on the map it's still probably worth it unless it goes on for too long; just gotta learn to scrounge what you can. As you said, there are nuances and if there weren't I probably wouldn't play.

Edit: Also if the jungler can get the camp I don't take it from him. He gets an extra 30 gold for large minion kills so it makes no sense to just throw that extra gold away...

Simply put, yes.

Gold concentration is highly desirable. In particular, any time your ADC takes jungle camps is super good for you, so long as they aren't missing lane creeps to do it.

Jungling has always been a role where you make do with what you have. Laners have always been richer than junglers. That is the correct strategy.

When I play ADC and get to the teamfights ALL I do is jungling between the teamfights. (can't do it with all ADCs tho) By that point (in my MMR at least) the jungler isn't even taking his camps anymore so why waste all that good exp? I hit 18 first when I do that and who dosen't want a lvl 18 ADC?

Let me tell you the average situation:

I push lane to help the guy that just died not lose tower or because they got the kill during the gank and I need surplus farm.

Guy starts whining and pinging for me to stop.

I will proceed to make the correct decision and push the lane.

He immediately starts farming my camps and abandons his lane. Will even follow me to steal my camps right out from under me.

We start losing because he refuses to play properly and does anything and everything to spite me.

My team starts blaming me for the loss and they might even join in on the bullying because this guy refuses to do anything I ask.
