@Riot - What Are Your Plans for Katarina in the Upcoming Assassin Updates?

Just read that you guys have some plans for the assassin group, and I'm curious what you guys have been brainstorming for Katarina. She is my main so just curious. I'm hoping its nothing too major. Like you said in the description, you want assassins to have some form of counter play rather than just instant death, which Kat only brings to the table if:

Team forgets to save some form of cc in fights.
Team brings along full squishy team in champ select.
They feed katarina past the point of return.

Katarina as it stands is awkward because she has some part of her power budget dedicated to ward hopping, but she can't buy wards.

As A Kat main, just keeping the trinket ready is good enough for me, but then you can't really set vision for your team unless its pink wards, which don't even have a place late game.

I hope not much. I mean you could argue that her laning phase is a bit too rough, but the fact she just needs one good teamfight to come back into the game makes up for it.

Part of me would kind of like to see riot try adding some better AD scaling to her kit. I'm curious what an AD/AA katarina would be like... and I'd like a non-caster who can duel wield swords. It's kind of sad our only duel wielder can't really auto attack.

I've said it elsewhere, but kat is literally the opposite of the reasons they want to rework assassins, but still needs a rework.

The biggest problem with assassins is little to no counter play, but katarina is countered by any hardcc/GA/Zhonya/a slight breeze. But they cant just "remove" one of those counters because her uncountered damage is so rediculously high compared to other assassins. Thats why she needs a rework.

I think her ult should do % health damage to at least scratch the tanks. This won't hurt the squishes at all because she blows them up anyway. Other than that I think she is fine. But knowing Riot they'll probably give her a Malz passive and make her op then nerf her to the ground.
