I Like Dynamic Queue(Hate all you want, but at least read it then hate.)

Personally, I favor the unpopular opinion that dynamic queue has made league more enjoyable!

Why? because all the complaints about it don't really happen to a large majority of the community(sick rhymes), and the benefits are great.

A four man gank bottom can happen with a group of randoms with just three or four pings, its really quite easy to do, and often when I play with friends, we really don't do very much co-op besides screaming at each other about getting our asses down to dragon or how OP [insert fed champ here] is (we lose a lot :P).

Coordination is not that hard, but I think its the mentality of solo queue NOT to trust your teammates, where in a friend group, you can trust them,(Trust people, you may learn somethings).

Also about ranked being "Competitive" and relying on yourself. Seriously? MOBA does not stand for nothing, sure your individual laning potential is important to secure late game, but some jungle you don't know could be twice as impactful on your lane than you. what I'm saying is that this is a team game, and although its fun to carry and be powerful yourself, I see a lot of boards claiming that multi-people queue make it difficult, even impossible, because they have great coordination, to carry, I mean, the science behind carrying yourself in a team game is really against you, what you should be more focused on is "How and what can I do to help and support my team win." thats what coordinated ganks are for, and as I mentioned thats were solo queue players lack trust.

Another thing about dynamic queue is long wait times. Cool, at most I wait 6 minutes(lowest of low elo of course), I really don't know what to say about this one because some player DO have to wait a long time, but it doesn't affect me, so they must be doing something right.

The last complaint I've seen was complaining about the support role. Okay. I know there are a lot of people out there to who play support, heck its a pretty fun role to play once you know what you're doing. Face it, just because its hard to get a lot of glory as a support(not saying its impossible, but unless you play it a lot, your not gonna be extraordinary outstanding.) if you want more supports, queue up as support, if you pick fill, the system is gonna put you in whatever role is least played, being support most of the time, because the mentality around support is that their is no easy glory, no huge rewarding damage, or flashy kits, or huge tanks that will never die(pure tanks, not support tanks who get shredded by opponent adc.)

These of course, are all valid issues with Dynamic Queue, however I really don't believe they are as big as the community claims them to be. I see a lot of posts on the front page with ~100-200 votes trying to represent the entire LoL community(it sounds silly in retrospect) but in fact a lot of players are basically untouched! even if its just 1-2 games, its just one or two games out of many! I mean, I think its worth it, because I don't have to fight with people about what role I want, and its much easier to communicate with your team(if they even talk back) about who your gonna play and who they should play or if your willing to play blah blah blah to synergies with them! Heck, I'd say its worth 100%

Hate away, I'll do my best to explain if you have questions.

<3 Happy Dynamic Queue Player

In and of itself dynamic queue is not a bad thing, I like the idea of people being allowed to play with the friends if they want to. The problem is the despicable tactics Riot used to force it on everyone. I ALWAYS wanted a pure solo queue. The problem is that Riot matchmaking has always been sup-par. Now dynamic queue makes it even more difficult for a rather weak system to find good fair matches. Lots of times you'll see people queued together playing against people who aren't queued together. It's not just 4-5 man premades. It can be two duos in one game against a pure team of solos, or even three man queues. I think you should change your poll question to: 'how many times have you witnessed a dynamic queue team(2 or more players) play against a pure solo team'. Since there are longer queue times with the implementation of the new champion select, the variance in matchmaking is at an all time high. More and more premades find their way into games against teams of pure solos.

The worst thing about it is that you won't know unless you go to op.gg and look up every player on the enemy team. Riot offers no defense against this commonplace occurrence and no reward for it if you win. Since there are no mmr penalties for multi-queuing, teams with premades of any size have an advantage over teams without them. Coupled with all the ways dynamic queue can be exploited, and let's face it, exploitation is going to be commonplace in a community where people make accounts just for aram games, this makes ranked a miserable experience for pure solo players like me that want to get their rating through their own merits alone.

I always thought that if you want the advantage of playing with people who you know and the security that comes with it, you should have increased wait times to 'pay' for that advantage. Instead, solo players are the one who commonly have to pay that price for an advantage that may go to the opposing team. These are only a few reasons for why so many people adamantly hate dynamic queue; not because it exists, but because it's being forced on people.

This is a huge disappointment to the community imho. With all the ways that dynamic queue can be exploited, Riot either didn't have the oversight or simply didn't care because they saw an opportunity to increase their profit margin. Issues like no way of dealing with afks, bugs like the Jayce hammer stance bug, I thought, should be a priority. Instead of working on the basics, they work on a completely new feature which has a slew of problems on it's own which further increases Riot's workload when, what should be, basic issues have not been solved.

Where's the "I don't know and I don't really care" option? Because I never bothered checking or anything.

DynamicQ isn't at all bad, it just makes playing solo not as rewarding as it used to be. "Solo carry" because you did well on your own, as well as leading your team to victory (through effective shotcalling of course)? Not so often anymore. Premades hardly ever listen to solo players, unless they're people like me. It's also much harder to lead a group of non premades because the enemies are usually so much more well-coordinated that it just make soloing seem like a total flop.

Q times? Sometimes shit just gets buggy, but that's just good ol' Rito and their clients. Though my problem, as a support only player, is that you can't Q for only one role, even if it's something seemingly unpopular like supporting. If it's not just the unintended trolls who lose because they just plain ol' suck, then it would also be those guys purposely making people lose simply because he didn't get that role. Hell, roles aren't even "primary" or "secondary", but rather "role A" and "role B", in no particular order. Add dynamicQ to the special recipe of the new draft pick, and "already bad shit" becomes "extremely smelly shit".

Support role has been the same, dynamicQ just made the existing struggles of supporting appear even more obvious. Warding should have been always limited, support success have been reliant on teammates in the first place, and the kinds of blames and "abuse" are not even support specific or just comes from very stupid people.

I'm not too big of a fan of DynamicQ, but it's also very unlikely that they would release SoloQ because of the "competitive teamwork" nature of this game. Yes, it solved a lot of the problems in the past, yes, it created new ones, and yes, it is flawed. But things like matchmaking or even just a little tweak on the "choose your role" part would make the entire dynamicQ thing less bad. If even, it's more on the game flow and the overall balance that makes shit unrewarding to play as and against.

Just my 2 cents. These QQers do seem like they're overexaggerating, but they're still right to some extent.
