The Lp gain should be based on how well you performed and how long the match lasted.

I absolutely hate winning 18 lp and losing 24 lp. For context, the win match took 30-40 minutes while the lose match ended around 15 minutes. Like what the hell I spent so much effort just to lose it all at half the time.

Plus getting a good grade should influence how you gain LP!

Players on a team need to be aligned around the same goal, winning. Regardless of their K/D or strat employed to win.

The general problem with player-grades affecting LP, is that it puts teammates in competition with one another, and force them to play in the way that gets them the best grade, not the way that gives them the best chance to win.

Suddenly the game becomes about KDA, not about winning.

I think it would be reasonable to make a different game-mode, aka "Summoner's Rift Blitz", where you only play to 20 minutes, and the highest team score wins.... Maybe this could be used for people to do placements, and it could be an alternative way to climb ELO until you get to Silver.. after which you'd have to play full SR to climb.
