Why is Gragas always banned?

Darn, I was hoping for a meaningful discussion here on why he really is picked/banned so much. The joke was entirely unexpected...

Anyways, everyone knows the real reason he is banned so often is because no one wants an angry drunk on their team!

The Real reason that he's banned is because of his abilities. Cinderhulk in it's nature is a late game scaling item. Yet Gragas has a fair amount of Burst with the %HP on his W, his body slam, and his Q. And his ult can reposition the enemy in favor of your team. Giving him great ganking power.

Gragas is the Lee Sin of the Tank meta. He had decent burst Early on that falls of late game. But that really doesn't matter because he transitioning into a hyper tank at that point. Engaging for his team and separating the carries form their tanks.
