I pick nocturne and then my team picks all squishies and tell me "noct go tank " I mean really ? who told them that noct is a tank ? Sure he can build some defensive items like Deadman and an adaptive helm, but is he really a tank ? He is a bruiser and bruiser is not a tank , tank is something like Ornn Sion Braum not Nocturne ...

He is a diver, borderline assassin/skirmisher. He is not a tank(no more than Annie or XinZhao at least), people are just stupid.

Its like your entire team going squishy when you have a support tank. No, that isn't going to work. You wouldn't want your top lane tank being underleveled and way behind in cs, but that is exactly what a support tank is. Support tanks are great secondary tanks, not your main one.

Eh, he's an assassin in the way that Diana XinZhao and Rengar can be. They can go in and murder someone suddenly(they have the assassinate part down), but their only reliable option for getting out is to run(their escape plans are crap compared to the rest of the assassins, I guess Noc can launch his q, so he has a "run faster" option?).

And by the their definition, an assassin has ways to get in, do burst damage, and get out with their mobility spells. A diver has ways to get in, usually does a burst of damage, then either has to stay there and continues brawling with their auto attacks, or run on foot because they lack an escape that is not flash. In the "campion subclass" list, some found it weird that Noc was put in with the assassins but Rengar was not.
