I thought it was "calculated" that it does little damage as opposed to Rabaddon?
Actually, I want to know the reason why. As a frequent user of the item, why is this item considered strong? I actually thought it needed a little buff as opposed to the single damage item (aka Lich Bane)

Jungle Lux God1 votesIt has a lot of abuse cases on mages that cast spells a lot, and the poke it provides gets super obnoxious at the later stages of the game.
If I'm not mistaken, one of the most prominent abusers of this item is AP Kog'maw, who can spam his ultimate to get near-infinite Luden's Procs on the enemy team and push them out without much retaliation, especially since he can use it from so far away. He's not the only abuser, but he's arguably the most prominent abuser that got buffed with Luden's Echo.
