my issue with the changes as a "veteran" player

Riot made a massive amount of money off rp champion and rune page purchases because of runes being a very large ip sink... and most veteran players probably haven't bought much in the way of runes this year(i.e. the good refund minimally benefits the veterans and highly benefits the new players)...

so the way this change is being implemented (vets will getting 100-150ip back per rune for the vast majority, if not all, of their runes) is plain old insulting and shows a blatant disregard and lack of care for older players

I could see that in a point of view. Yet, another view I see is that you guys already have all your champions unlocked and with the runes you already want unlocked. Thus building up IP you don't know what to do with anymore. Only other reason for you guys to rant about this I could see that you wasted them on name changes and not complaining you don't have enough for the Urf-Wick skin.

Other than that. what other usages you guys have with IP other than IP chroma sales? And with it being tied to the Champion Shard essences - which now allows you spend the IP/BE for mastery upgrades.

"vets" so entitled. if they dont get more free stuff than everyone else its disrespectfull. youll get over it man
