one way to reduce jungler presure for next pacth

alfavhunter··4 votes·355 views

the healing plants in river now spawn 1 minute later into the game

smite heal reduced by 50% at level 1, scaling back up to live values at lvl 11 and being increased to 50% more healing at lvl 18

this reduces early sustain and prevents the killed 3 camps still hp lets gank! effect for non sustain junglers (who are typically stronger at ganking at early levels, while champions like Warwick will sustain just fine, but has virtually no gank power in their kit until level 6)

Riot has already put a change on the PBE that makes your first clear give less XP, addressing the issue of jungle pressure from junglers that are 1-2 levels ahead of the laners.

Further changes that are really needed are to reduce smite damage (to increase the time that jungle clearing takes by a bit), as well as changing the monster respawn times back to that of last season, as the super long respawn times encourage junglers to gank as opposed to farming.

I really don't like that solution though, I strongly agree that junglers are op right now, but the xp changes would destroy and farm till 6 champions(or at least thats what it seems like it will do).

Well, if they were combined with reduced respawn timers, THEN it wouldn't be an issue for them.

That really wouldnt make a difference, theyre already respawning after first clear.

I'm referring to the beginning of this preseason when Riot increased the time for camps to respawn. This encouraged more ganking as you had more downtime, and discouraged power farming.
