Overgrowth on tanky junglers (why it's not viable)

IMO Overgrowth is not viable on tanky junglers because it is not working properly and takes way too much time to stack. A few patches ago Riot made it so that each camp is worth 4 monsters and I thought that Overgrowth would work that way: 2 camps = 8 monsters = +0.2% total hp, but it doesn't! After testing I found out that the stacking only works by killing 8 physical monsters, no wonder it takes so long to stack in the jungle! That also explains why this rune is alot more viable in lane than in the jungle. Therefore, I think Overgrowth could and should be made viable in the jungle by ajusting the stacking with the actual monsters value per camp.

I can get behind that. I have no problem with junglers being able to stack overgrowth at a rate that is consistent with their xp/gold gain.

I mean I know junglers are not supposed to have as much income and xp as solo laners, but I feel like we can give them this.

It's the only other option there that actually works for them...But whatever.

It works just fine. You're just taking things out of context:

A few patches ago Riot made it so that each camp is worth 4 monsters

This was explicitly stated to be for cs purposes.

As it stands, it's exactly as stated. Every 8 minions and monsters. Meaning Krugs get you 1.25 stacks of it right off.
