It's not 'imma camp you with zero consequences' meta. If you're being camped and the enemy team is not feeling the pain because of it, it's because your jungler is bad.
I play mostly top lane these days, and I can confirm- when Nidalee is chucking spears at you every ten seconds from river (and when she does leave you alone, you're still up against brain damage inducing fair and balanced Victor top), it's pretty easy to get tilted. But here's the thing- while the enemy jungler is bedding down in your lane, there are two lanes and a jungle that she is not in.
One of the biggest issues at hand with jungling is that many players don't realize getting hard camped is a good thing if your jungler isn't awful. I play Aatrox all the time, so my main strategy is hard bully, push to turret and try to draw the enemy jungler out. Sometimes I die, sometimes I don't, but either way, it leaves both other lanes and neutral objectives open for my jungler to attack while theirs is occupied. In fact, it is rather easy to put a camping jungler at a deficit simply by stealing camps while they are ganking, as they won't be able to fall back to their jungle for XP after a failed gank.
Tldr; if your jungler is smart, the game might not be super fun for you, but your team will thank you for being a distraction. Exercise patience and try to remember that you could very well be helping your team find a win.
