Why is Twitch's poison so mediocre while he's so related to the poison theme?

RIght now Twitch is like one of those bursty ADC, but it's just so unfitting with the poison theme, and rn I just feel like his passive is an excuse to fit that same theme. Like, I've played against countless twitchs and honestly all it does is bother you for a while if you want to recall or kill you if you come out extremely lucky. His E isn't that effective, putting 6 stacks on someone without killing them will probably get you killed before you can even reach that amount. It's like someone using a fire sword to attack, but the fire is so weak and the sword is so fucking strong it doesn't even matter if there's fire or no.

Not to mention for a poison user like Singed, he has no magic damage, AP scaling or anything to actually assist the poison. I'd personally love if twitch had explosion magic damage on his W and his passive would scale with AP more, which would make him a more varied champion and actually allow him to fit the poison theme better.

Tl;dr We could remove his poison and it would hardly do anything because close to none of his damage comes from it and it wouldn't affect him a lot.

he also has a sneaky lethal rat sewer theme going for him which works fine, and there are already poison themed champions -cass, singed, teemo.

So why change twitch?

I support more mixed damage champs and more hybrid items.

The problem with Twitch is his poison doing True damage. If it scales up from AP, that could get very busted. If it is changed to magic and scales off AP, how strong should it be then? Should another aspect of his kit get nerfed to compensate for a better scaling DOT?

What if we made it so that 50% of twitches Autos on champions was applied as poison stacking up to 6 times. Hitting his e adds the stacks (so equalling up to 3 autos of damage) and when contaminate is cast it refreshes the stacks allowing it to deal double the damage if cast last second.

So basically twitches Autos at 100 ad will deal 50 up front damage and 50 over 6 seconds. If he casts contaminate each stack will deal an aditional 50 damage over the next 6 seconds.
