@Riot 1 report = 9 reports needs to be spread more

In the past few months I've begun being a bit active on the forums, I've learned that 1 report = 9 reports, meaning no matter how many people report me it doesn't matter. A single report triggers the review.

Now in this same period of time I've met only a single person in the game who knew this rule. Everyone else cries "plez report x because y".

We need to add "1 report = 9 reports" in the tips so that people can see it sometimes. Nobody really want to take the time to read the whole summoner's code. Or something like that. Idk.

Every time I see someone ask for reports I try to tell them this and every time they're like "that's bullshit!" -_- Would love to see Riot try to actually spread this bit of knowledge.

I do agree. Before the forums, I didn't know asking for reports was against the rules and it was a bannable offense if followed with a negative attitude. It has to be something players could see and learn not only on the forums as not a lot of the player base is active with the boards.

We need to add "1 report = 9 reports"

You mean they need to add "9 reports = 1 report". Silly EU land always saying things backwards.

I find that hard to believe. I mean I do "believe you" but if that were true, shouldn't all the people we report for intentional feeding actually get banned? Heck, should we all be banned for that one game we snapped at somebody and they reported us for flaming? Should we get banned for our first pvp game where we ended up feeding cause we had no idea what we were doing and everybody reported us? Shouldn't we get banned for griefing that one game we begged others to surrender so we could stop wasting time? I think you get the point, I can't see how 1 report could actually make a difference.

I think that is false statement by RIOT to try to prevent people from calling for reports 24/7. I have had 10 game chat ban 3 times over these years and every time it was when I literally argued with everyone and everyone reported me, I wasn't even toxic and flaming, I just got reported by 7-8 people and voila the ban was there. On the other hand sometimes I am quite toxic, mostly when people flame me and I snap, and so far I never got banned for that kind of behavior. Thats my opinion on the matter.

What we really need is forced accuracy in reports. Someone died 12 times and went 4 12 but tries if you report them for int YOU get their punishment. fuck this stupid system where you can get punished for 3 games in 100 if you just happen to get reported enough for a review.

Riot says it and it's been circumventing around the forums for a long time, but I still highly doubt that.

I'm assuming Riot says it to prevent false extra reports on a single person from report-calling so that they can distinguish between a person who got reported by several individual people in one game, and one guy who got 5 extra reports from the enemy team for doing some dumb thing.
